JORDAN

There are 600,000 Syrian refugees in Jordan who desperately need support.

Support Our Home Rehabilitation Project

Families across Jordan live in damaged homes that provide little protection from harsh weather. We're on the ground rehabilitating these homes so that families have safety, warmth and dignity.

Jordan faces a complex set of challenges that have been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020-21, political instability and COVID-19 substantially expanded humanitarian needs across all nationalities in Jordan.

In response to this crisis, our teams on the ground in Jordan have provided life-saving assistance to over 6,000 people in need over the past year. This takes the form of vouchers that are valid for food and Non-Food Items (NFI).

Through our shelter projects, we have rehabilitated and renovated dozens of damaged households, improving the health and safety increasing economic opportunities within the community.

Abdulraheem Wants a Better Life for His Children

Father-of-nine Abdulraheem can't sleep at night due to constantly worrying about his children. He fears that the wooden tent in which they live will blow away or collapse. His first priority in life is a good life for his children. They are deprived of everything. The family urgently needs support, just to afford the basics.
